Have you got what it takes?

Grab a friend and treat yourself…

All in The How Stean Experience!

Traverse the towering walls of the Gorge… descend on ropes… land big jumps… slide into plunge pools… everything you could want to do in the Gorge is here in FOUR HOURS of top adventure fun!

How Stean Experience

After a 10:30 briefing you’ll be trained to tackle one of only three Via Ferrata in the UK. That’s a high-ropes style climbing adventure which crisscrosses our gorge and passes right under our glass-floored café.

Escaping the Gorge through Tom Taylor’s cave gets you back to our Adventure Base for a quick change into super-thick wetsuits – then it’s time lower yourself 14 metres from our bridge to the rushing waters beneath our Via Ferrata.

To finish, you get to explore How Stean Beck: fossil hunting, climbing and sliding down waterfalls, jumping into deep pools, swimming in fast currents and more – seeing sections of our Site of Special Scientific Interest that are otherwise inaccessible even for enthusiasts!
