You will be safely cared for by our professional experienced instructors who use How Stean Gorge for outdoor activities on a daily basis.

Our location and facilities are second to none. We operate directly from How Stean, which means you are straight out of the changing rooms onto your activity, maximising your time on session, no big walks to a venue.

We provide everything you need and are fully AALA Licensed Centre, so you know your safety is our priority.

How Stean Gorge is a spectacular limestone ravine carved out over thousands of years by waterflow and is the perfect location for outdoor activities like via ferrata, gorge walking, caving, rock climbing, canyoning and abseiling. It is geographically unique, as it’s one of the only places in the UK where you can comfortably enjoy both rocksports and canoeing – in a single day! Our multi outdoor activity day is also the only one in the country to include a Via Ferrata course!
