Our 6-bed lodges are well suited to families, friends and small groups who want to stay together while enjoying everything the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The layout is designed for shared time, with space to eat, relax and plan the next day without feeling cramped.
Each lodge includes a private hot tub, giving you a welcome place to unwind after time outdoors. Inside, the wooden features and cosy living space create a relaxed base where you can kick off your boots, put the kettle on and settle in for the evening.
There’s plenty to do right on your doorstep. Just a short walk away, you can wander through the gorge, explore the ravine and caves, or take part in a wide range of outdoor activities with our qualified and friendly instructors. Choose from via ferrata, gorge walking, abseiling, caving and canoeing, or take on the Big 5 challenge in one action-packed day (prior booking essential).

What do I need to bring to the lodge?
Bring your clothes and personal items including towels, the electricity supply to each cabin is plenty to charge phones and other devices.
Are there cooking facilities?
Each lodge is equipped with a full kitchen, including a Fridge, Oven, Hobs, Sink, Hot & Cold running water.
A BBQ is provided with each lodge with charcoal and firelighters available from the shop.
All cutlery, cups, plates and BBQ utensils are provided.
Are they warm?
Yes all the cabins are insulated and come with a log burner that will keep you toasty, even in the colder months!
Is there wi-fi?
Yes, we have wi-fi, the site does not have phone reception, however.
Is it suitable for groups?
The site is group-friendly, it is a quiet site in a rural setting though, so if you are looking for a noisy weekend this might not be for you!
Can I bring my dog?
Yes dogs are welcome as long as they stay off the furniture (may be subject to extra cleaning fee)
What time can I check in from?
Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
Is there a pub nearby?
The most important of all questions! Yes, there are two pubs within walking distance of the site both called ‘The Crown’ one in Lofthouse & the other in Middlesmoor
