Step into the wild after dark and see the gorge as you’ve never seen it before.

Glow Wild transforms the gorge and woodland into a trail of light, colour and sound. Wander beneath glowing trees, spot illuminated wildlife, and see surprises hidden along the route.

Gather round the fire for hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows, and see How Stean Gorge lit up after dark.

When darkness falls, the gorge comes alive.

Glow Wild runs from 6th November 2026 to 28th March 2027.

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during term time
Every night during the Christmas holidays, February half term, and the Easter holidays, up until the clocks go forward on 28th March

  • A trail through the gorge and woodland, taking around an hour to walk
  • Glowing trees, illuminated wildlife and mirror balls along the route
  • A fire pit to gather round, with hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows
