Booking the 10-bed lodge at How Stean Gorge is easy, with exclusive use of the lodge for your group throughout your stay. Once your dates are confirmed, you can relax knowing everything’s in place, whether you’re planning an adventure-filled weekend, a celebration, or a group break in the Yorkshire Dales.
Our team is always happy to help with questions, availability, or adding outdoor activities to your visit. This lodge is popular with larger groups, especially at weekends and during school holidays, so booking ahead is recommended.
Bring your clothes and personal items including towels, the electricity supply to each cabin is plenty to charge phones and other devices.
Don’t forget your swim stuff for the hot tub!
Let everyone in your group know to bring along a sleeping bag or duvet, a bottom sheet and pillowcase will be provided for you.
A BBQ is provided with charcoal and firelighters available from the shop. There is a kitchen with oven, fridge, stove, cupboard space, and kitchen table in the lodge but you can also visit our glass-floored café for locally produced (and yummy) meals.
All cutlery, cups, plates and BBQ utensils are provided.
We have ramps for our 4 and 6 bed lodges but not the lodge that sleeps 10. If you require a lodge with a ramp for easy access for pushchairs, wheelchair users or young children please specify this when booking.
Yes all the cabins are insulated and come with a log burner that will keep you toasty, even in the colder months!
Yes, we have wi-fi, the site does not have phone reception, however.
The site and lodges are group-friendly, it is a quiet site in a rural setting though, so if you are looking for a noisy weekend this might not be for you!
Yes dogs are welcome as long as they stay off the furniture (may be subject to extra cleaning fee)
Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
