This 2 Day Outdoor First Aid Course runs over 2 days, based from our training centre here at How Stean Gorge outdoor activity centre.

A course ideally suited to individuals, outdoor professionals and clubs who partake in leisure activities in remote locations. The content of these 2 Day Outdoor First Aid courses include training and scenario based exercises which are based on being more than several minutes or even up to several hours from help until the rescue team arrives.

This course can be adapted for individual group requirements, if wishing to structure/orientate their course around a specific outdoor activity.

Also covers (free of charge) EFAW for those people who need a Emergency First Aid at Work certificate.

Can revalidate an existing First Aid at Work qualification.

Attendees on this course are eligible to receive 14 hours Professional Drivers First Aid (Driver CPC) certificate for an additional fee.

Suitable For: Outdoor professionals / instructors / sports coaches / professional drivers to re-qualidate National Governing Body Awards such as British Caving Association, British Canoeing, Royal Yachting Association etc and Driver CPC requirements

Certificate is valid for 3 years.

 

If you are wishing to attend this 2 Day Outdoor First Aid Course you will need to be a minimum of 16 years old and have a moderate fitness level as this training course includes practical scenarios.

The training will commence at 9am both days through to 5.30, allowing time for lunch and additional short breaks throughout the day.

Hot and cold drinks will be provided by our lovely team in the cafe which will be open all day, if you require lunch in the cafe.

 

 

Please bring along clothing to keep you warm, dry and comfortable. Suitable for the days prevailing weather conditions.
