The small campsite at How Stean Gorge has been used by campers for over 100 years. Having only basic facilities, it is open all  year around.
Because we are situated in such a remote and beautiful part of the world, you will find it an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of life.
The campsite offers toilet facilities with hot and cold running water but only one shower, no mobile phone signal ,no television reception, no hook up, but we have the advantage of no light pollution.

How stean is a beutiful location on its own but is only a short drive from Masham, Pateley Bridge & Brimham Rocks. Fountains Abbey and Ripon City is also just a short drive away.
