At the heart of the Yorkshire Dales we’re ideally situated for adventure on and off road biking with green lanes, bridleways and old drover tracks leading to picturesque villages and remote reservoir locations.

What do I need to bring?
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing and sensible footwear. We can supply a safety helmet, lock, reflective strap and cycle bag for your map and drinks!
Can you help with a route?
We can advise on flatter mountain biking routes for beginners and challenging hill routes for the more adventurous. Maps are also available from the shop.
Can I take the whole family?
We’ve got bikes for groups, families, child seats, tagalongs and a double buggy for younger children – so the whole family can be involved!
NB A popular challenge is biking to Yorkshire’s Scar Dam 4 miles away which takes you through open countryside towards the Scar Reservoir. You will see the historic remnants of a bustling town, once home to hundreds of families during the construction of the Dam. This venture offers some fantastic scenery and is on tarmac on the old railway track.
